ABOUT ME

Simona Gee dj has been playing for several years on the Italian music scene ,helping  women promotion in consoles,becoming very soon appreciate and joining excellent placement at the important DMC competition, known all over the world.
She immediately stands out for her personal dj-sets and the research  of  new sound and musical contaminations ,always remaining in step with times and fashions.
She plays deep, house, tech and thanks to her experience , she can fit musically into any kind of  situation and place. She played as guest in many clubs in Italy Switzerland (tour), Belgium, Malta and France. During her artistic career she has also been  a producer for  Afrosoup Recording, an indipendent label featuring excellent feedback from international DJs like Anja Schneider, Mark Knight, Xpress2, Butch and Tim Green. She is part of the dj roster of “remember Picchio Rosso”, an historical club in  Emilia, that gave her the chance to win a competition and start playing in the early 90s. She received the Golden Woodpecker and the certificate of merit for being the only female DJ in this prestigious club, symbol of at least three generations.
She collaborates with several web radios including Tendance, Linea Radio, Radio 906, XXI Secolo.
She plays with modern digital supports without forgetting the evergreen vinyl: she really is a true admirer of it.
